Road Racing Frames from CMR Racing Products Inc.
YAMAHA TZ250/350 F & G MODEL:
We started in 2007 by reproducing the Harris Yamaha TZ250/350 GP Low-line Special frame, swing-arm and tank kit. The Low-line frame is not a replica of the original Yamaha frame, so the stock tank cannot be used. On the Low-line the gas-tank sits approximately 2 inches lower than the stock tank, and the frame tube layout is quite different to stock. Harris delivered the original frame from which these replicas were made to Canadian John Davis at Daytona in February of 1980. See the original spec sheet.
The earlier Harris Yamaha TZ 250/350 frames were made to fit the original Yamaha gas-tank and the original Yamaha aluminum cantilever swing-arm.
We have supplied a number of the above CMR kits around the world already with the owners being very happy with their results. See our Testimonials Page to read racers comments.
The CMR Replica Harris Yamaha TZ350GP Low-line Special frame, swing-arm and tank kits obtained eligibility for Forgotten Era Racing (FRC) competition in the U.K. See FRC Approval letter. Forgotten Era Racing is now part of the ICGP Racing series in Europe. ICGP approval has been granted.

CMR DRIXTON REPLICAS
Marly Drixl was a Swiss engineer who appeared on the European racing scene in the mid to late 1960's. Drixol produced a number of very original frame packages for Aermacchi, in conjunction with British motorcycle racing entrepreneur Sid Lawton. Drixl's main claim to fame was a design for the Honda CB450 twin (the Black Bomber) which Honda launched in 1965. DRIXTON was an amalgamation of the names Drixl and Lawton. Records show that Drixl made only three or four copies of the CB450 Honda engined Drixton, but this machine handled so well that many people copied it. Drixl set a standard that still works today. CMR Drixton Replicas carry on that proud tradition.
CMR DRIXTON FRAME AND TANK KITS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR AN EXPANDED LINE OF ENGINES CMR produce replicas of the Drixton frame kit for the Honda CB350 twin and the CB450/500 Honda twins.
