KP Racing purchased one of our very popular CMR Replica Harris Yamaha TZ350GP Low-line Special frame,swing arm and tank kits for their rider Karel Pavich. Karel was the 2006 New Zealand 250 GP Road-Racing Champion, and we are very proud to have her on one of our products. Thanks to Lester Ferdinand and Karel Pavich for their patronage. The bike had its first outing at the Pukekohe Classic Race Meeting in NZ on Sat 24 April, 2010. Karel achieved a third place position on this brand-new bike with brand-new frame and brand-new engine. Congratulations Karel.

Pukekohe Race Meeting Sat 24 April 2010

It was a combined Auckland Motorcycle and Post Classic Racing Association club day where we rolled out the TZ350 for the first time in 15 months. This was the first time we tested the new CMR Harris replica chassis and we were keen to see how well the bike handled. Everything went really well and we were not disappointed with the way the bike handled and turned on the bumpy Pukekohe track. We had a few teething problems but overall came away with a pretty good set up for the bike and our best result was a 3rd placing in race 2. There was a good turnout of Post Classic bikes for this meeting.

Upcoming Events

The next meeting is at Ruapuna Sat 22nd May which is a CAMS meeting for the TZ350 where we are hoping to get the bike fully set up and going really well. On Sun 23rd May there is BEARS meeting that we are hoping to run the Manx Norton at for the 1st time since the Pukekohe Classic in Feb.
